Our team prize payouts should still be based on our continued $3 Individual contributions each week. Nothing changed, so why are we collecting $4 from everyone? The reason is ”continuity”…to ensue our group continues to be self-sustaining. It may come as a surprise to some but it costs money to have a website, an effective communication system, and CTP balls. For many years much of the expense was covered by individuals in the group who are now getting a bit advanced in age and fear the time may come when they can no longer participate actively in the group. To ensure that we continue going forward even as those people no longer participate we started collecting an extra dollar a week to cover expenses.

If you get called upon at lunch to distribute winnings to the lead teams, please base your calculations on the old $3 contribution and set aside the additional $1 for our treasurer.

Pairings for tomorrow's round at WindRose are up on the website. We have 15 players signed up so we have one threesome and three foursomes. The threesome will go off on #9 first and the foursomes will follow.

It looks like the weather will be hot but dry. Hopefully with our 8a tee time we can beat the worst of the heat.

We will be playing our own ball on holes 10 - 18 and our modified shamble on holes 1 - 9. Conceded putts must be inside the leather and only two mulligans per player per side. Terrence's team will put out the CTP markers and Kerry's team will pick them up.

Cost for the round is the usual (and reasonable) $49 which includes green fee, range balls and lunch.

I'm looking forward to my first round back after my absence so we'll see you there.
