Jersey Meadows WEDNESDAY

Wednesday October 14th we are playing at Jersey Meadows. This will be the last time we play at Jersey Meadows this year. Next year, we were able to move back toTuesday’s. Three dates have already been confirmed.

Further details for next Wednesday will be forthcoming. MONDAY at 8 pm will be a hard cutoff.

A notice went out that I was unable to continue as a pairings coordinator. I felt after almost 10 years it was time srep away. Probably the timing was not great as we continue look for volunteers to step up. The pairings system Chuck has developed is pretty simple and far from time consuming. I would hope there is a couple members, maybe as a team, willing to step up in assisting with this pretty simple task. Think about it, you will set the format and the rules for the day!

ARGG TOURNAMENT RESULTS

Today at WindRose

Other than a minor glitch with the scorecards it was a great day at WindRose today. We had a small but determined group of 13 players competing in great weather for golf.

I didn't manage to catch the scores but the winners were...

1st Place: Team 3 with Rod Keeling, Billie Curtis and Milton Kovar

2nd Place: Team 4 with Jide Ayo-Vaughn, Wayne Culver, Me and Tim Van Dinter

3rd Place: Team 1 with John Townsend, Pete Addison and Chuck Dugand

Closest to the pin winners were Pete Addison and Tim Van Dinter.

The next few weeks finds ARGG at Jersey Meadow for a rare Wednesday round on the 14th. After that we play the newly renovated Cypress course at Cypresswood for the first time on Tuesday the 20th and then back to WindRose on Tuesday the 27th.
